News + Balance of 2012 Cosplays (middle of the year)

Finally, I'm making this post! It's about time I write something new here.

I've been really busy lately because I had National Exams (AKA Finals) so I had to study A LOT. But now that I'm free and on vacations, I have more time for cosplay and blogging!

Before I do the balance of my cosplay year so far, I just want to mention 2 things quickly:

First, I'm currently sponsoring/being sponsored by CosplayShopper.com! They came to me asking for a sort of cross-promotion which I accepted! They have really good things so you should check them out! They sell not only cosplays and cosplay props but also wigs, Lolita dresses and acessories and Kigurumis! The other thing that I want to mention, is that I appeared on KawattaKun's newest cosplay music video (Anicomics 2012)! Even though I only appear for like... 2 seconds, I think the video is amazing, I really liked it! *-* Good job Kawatta!

I appear on the minute 3:13 (among with friends <3) as Itachi Uchiha - Mafia version (I'm on the left). I'm not sure if you can watch the video here, I think you can only watch it on Youtube (Youtube policies, don't ask). Watch in HD!

About the balance of my cosplays so far (which is the main reason I did this post), I don't want to make a huge thing about it, because it becomes boring to read. Besides I think this post is already big, so I don't want to make it even bigger.

I'll just try to do the same thing I did last year: lists. It's simpler that way!

Cosplays that I've finished (100%) until now:

• Itachi Uchiha (Naruto) - Angels of Revolution
• Itachi Uchiha (Naruto) - Mafia

Cosplays that I'm working on (at the moment):

• Itachi Uchiha (Naruto) - Sexy no Jutsu (genderbend) Summer Dress - 85%
• Secret Cosplay #1 - 40%
• Alucard (Hellsing) - %1 (HIATUS until Winter time)

Cosplays that I'm planning on doing still this year:

• Secret Cosplay #2
• Midorii (OC)

This year has just been crazy... I've had so many ideas for cosplays, but had to discard must of them because I just don't have the possibilities to do it (money and time). I changed my 2012 Cosplay List so many times, I lost count! It's crazy!

I still may do Serious Sam (genderbend), Sailor Mars (Sailor Moon), Haku (Naruto) and Kisame Sexy no Jutsu (Naruto), or at least one of these. At this point I seriously can't tell if I'm going to cosplay all, some, or none. 

I may also come up with another cosplay idea XD You never know. About photoshoots, I have a lot too! But I'll talk about it later.

And this is all for now. I'm going to make a post soon showing some WIP's from my Itachi Uchiha - Summer Dress (genderbend)! It's almost finished!

Festa do Japão 2012

Hey everyone! ♥

I'm so bored right now, you guys have no idea -.-

Yesterday (2nd of July) I went to an event called Festa do Japão, which can be translated to Party of Japan.

I wasn't planning of going to be honest. I've been too tired and I'm taking a small break from cosplay, so I can regain my strenght and do an awesome costume I have on my mind (I wasn't going to announce this yet but I had to mention it here).

I ended up going because a certain someone I really love "forced me" to go. 

It rained. Not a lot, but it still rained a little bit. It was cold and windy too. But after a while the weather warmed up and the sun was actually shining. Too bad it was when I left XD

I decided to wear my normal clothes as you can see XD My hair looks horrible because it was a wet. Besides it rained on it twice already before the event.

Misaki, João (I have no idea if he has dA or something), Fiaziinha and Me.

The event was ok. I only stayed there for a couple of hours but it was enough to see how it was. The mood was great, and I met some of my cosplay friends that I didn't see for quite some time.

I guess there could have been more stands and they could have also used the space a little better (I know it wasn't that big but still). Otherwise it was ok.

Me and some AWESOME people made a video for PewDiePie's "Fridays with PiewDiePie"!! It was Mindbizarre's idea, I can't wait until he sees it! *-*

Anicomics 2012

Hey everyone! ♥

FINALLY a new post.

Yes, I know. I've been lagging and I have no excuse this time. I'm just very lazy at the moment. A lot of stuff has been going on in my life and I'm exausted both emotionally and fisically. I apologise.

As a matter of fact I believe this post is going to be small (because once again I'm very lazy and I barely have a picture to show you guys).

Anicomics Lx 2012 occured during the 5th and 6th of May. It's one of the biggest cons we've had here in Portugal so far. This year was the 3rd edition and I have to say it was absolutely amazing.

And when I say amazing, I really mean AMAZING!

I've been going to this con since the 1st edition and every year it's better than the last. I want to congratulate Mário Freitas for the wonderful organization and awesome time Anicomics provided me and my friends! Thank you so much and amazing job!!

Yes, I really can't wait for next year X3

Anyway...

As for cosplays, I went with a new one: Itachi Uchiha - Mafia version!

I actually kind of regret going with that outfit. It was WAY too hot both days to walk around in a black suit -.- (but I'm an idiot) I sort of suffered a little everytime I was outside.

About this outfit, it was a last minute idea. I currently have no new outfits, even though I'm working in a few surprises.

Itachi Uchiha - Angels of Revolution was out of question because the place is too small, Ion Fortuna I just wore on the last con and Kurapika was a no-no because last Anicomics I went with that outfit. All the other costumes were either too hot or not available at the moment.

And no way I would go as Sexy no Jutsu Kakuzu, that's just a lot of work (all the stitching, geez XD).

I was a bit sad because the version I wanted to cosplay is from a fanart I really love (and I love the artist as well), but I didn't have a red suit or time to make one. So I just wore the black suit I used for Deidara - Mafia since I won't use that cosplay anymore (I will do the grey suit version from the same fanart, it's so much prettier).

I just want to say that everyone was amazing, I saw stunning costumes! *-* Also, congratulations to the cosplay competition's winners!!

I will make a new post sometime soon talking about my next costumes and also make a balance of the year so far. You can also always check the side bar (on the left) with the cons/events I'll be attending this year and also my cosplay list for 2012. I'm always updating it.
